I briefly considered the concept in this pamphlet, but came to a few conclusions pretty quickly:

  1. Reconciling science and religion isn’t a goal of mine. I’m okay with non-overlapping magisterium, and have little use for religion to begin with.
  2. The evidence for the earth going around the sun [and the sun going around the center of the galaxy] is compelling enough for me. “Galileo said it, I believe it, that settles it”, to paraphrase a religious bumper sticker I once saw.
  3. I resent the suggestion that I’m not “open minded” when I consider a concept, and decide to reject it.
